Soooo.....in case any of you were wondering why I haven't commented your art, it's because I've been slack and let the deviations pile up, and I've been stalling having to look through all of them. I feel bad about not leaving comments, especially when a lot of you comment my stuff. So please, if there's a deviation you want me to look, leave the link so I can go and comment.

I've been writing fanfiction since I was 12, first writing an Avatar: The Last Airbender story. (It's not that good compared to how my writing has improved now, but read it if you'd like. I can't believe it! I actually finished my contest entry! Well, it's rushed of course (since my dad was behind me to get off the computer, forcing me to finish the sword and the shadow in less than 5 minutes.) XD I'm not sure if it's allowed, but I plan to go back and make a few adjustments (smooth out some spots, etc) but it's pretty much finished.

I had a sketch for another entry, but obviously I never got around to it...I'll just work on it anyway. (when I actually get the time)I have about 3 other WIPs on my computer that I really need to work on. >.< My goal is to finish it before my sixteenth birthday, so I've got until October 31st! And yes, my birthday is on Halloween.

I regret to say it, but I don't think I'm gonna make the Hakubaikou fanart contest deadline for my second entry. Between taking 9 classes (3 of which are AP, the rest advanced) Cross Country, student council, and the National Art Honor Society, I've had literally NO free time. As soon as I get home from practice, I'm stuck doing homework and studying for tests up until the wee hours of the night. I've had pretty much no time for the computer (and as you've noticed I haven't been active on DA in weeks)

I've spent the entire weekend doing homework assignments, and now it's 3:48 and I've finished most of it, leaving an artpad assignment, an AP English essay, and two tests to study for. I'm thinking that maybe I can finish these things within the next two hours and then get on photoshop to work on my picture, but with my father hogging the computer--the one that has photoshop on it--it doesn't look like that's gonna happen. (I'm using my mom's computer, and she refuses to let me download anything onto it.)

My dad's an English teacher, and pretty much spends the entire Sunday on the computer doing lesson plans. I really shouldn't have expected to be able to get a chance on it, but I had hoped...perhaps he'll get off so I can open photohsop and work on the picture, but for it to be up to my standards, it requires another 3-4 hours of work.

I curse the person who invented homework. May they rot in hell. >.<
